Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California, seeks a Maintenance Technician IV to support and maintain advanced facilities for fabricating, assembling, and testing electro‑mechanical hardware for current and future missions.

You will diagnose, repair, and optimize CNC and conventional shop equipment, ensuring PM schedules, safety compliance, and documentation are current. Join our team delivering high‑impact space missions.

Qualifications

• Typically a high school diploma with 10+ years of related experience; an Associate’s degree with 6+ years; or a Bachelor’s with 3+ years, plus technical training.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge in CNC machining centers, EDM equipment, and CNC fabrication machinery troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance schedules and logbooks; working knowledge of computers and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Perform regular PM checks on CNC and non‑CNC equipment following manuals and guidelines.
• Diagnose and repair equipment issues; coordinate with vendors for parts and specialized services.
• Maintain and update maintenance logs, documentation, and audit readiness.
• Locate, evaluate, and establish new vendor resources for repairs and parts.
• Ensure safety compliance, LOTO, waste disposal, and safety record‑keeping.
• Support equipment relocations and facility maintenance activities.
