Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, seeks a Senior Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Good Samaritan Oakes. The role provides resident-centered care in a 46-bed facility, reporting to an RN and supporting therapy services.

Active CNA certification is required at hire. Responsibilities include basic care, vital signs, documentation, and participation in restorative and wellness programs; flexibility for day shifts and occasional weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• A minimum of 12 hours continuing education are required annually.

Responsibilities

• The Senior Nursing Assistant provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.
• Assists with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and feeding.
• Documents resident interactions and communicates changing conditions to the charge nurse.
• Maintains infection prevention policies and proper PPE usage.
• Participates in restorative nursing and wellness programs as needed.
