Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant or enrolled in an accredited nursing program with at least 1 clinical semester completed.
• Current Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) certification.
• Approved workplace violence responder training within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
• Demonstrated patient care experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and assist patients with hygiene and elimination.
• Maintain a clean and safe unit environment and stock supplies as directed.
• Assist with operating hospital equipment and perform routine clerical tasks.
• Support nursing staff and other duties as assigned.
