Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support professional nursing staff with vital signs, hygiene, and patient comfort. You will help maintain a clean, safe unit and assist with clerical tasks as needed.

Ideal candidates hold CNA or LVN credentials or are nursing students with clinical experience, can read and communicate effectively in English, and are available to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic medical terminology knowledge required.
• Must read/write/speak English effectively.
• CNA or LVN certification, or nursing student with at least 1 clinical semester.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
• Assist patients with hygiene and elimination.
• Maintain clean, safe unit environment.
• Stock unit supplies and operate hospital equipment as directed.
• Perform routine clerical tasks and assist with other duties.
