Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.
• ACI Field Technician Level I Certification or NICET/ICC/NCDOT certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of concrete, grout, and mortar on active construction sites.
• Monitor placement techniques for compliance with specs.
• Conduct slump, air content, unit weight, and temperature tests.
• Mold compressive strength specimens and perform core drilling.
• Assist with asphalt testing: establish test locations, verify load temperature, and check density.
• Perform soil/aggregate testing: density/compaction, moisture content, bearing capacity checks.
