Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a CMT Senior Project Manager to lead construction materials testing projects in Charlestonfield services and drive project success from proposal through closeout. You will mentor staff, manage budgets, and develop client relationships while upholding ECS core values.

In this role you’ll oversee testing quality, act as main client contact, present findings at project meetings, and contribute to business development.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience in construction materials testing or equivalent.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Valid driver’s license if driving for ECS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Advanced project management and consulting skills.
• Strong business development and client relationships.
• Extensive knowledge of CMT principles and ASTM standards.
• Proficiency with construction materials testing software.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and mentor staff.

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages CMT projects from proposal through completion.
• Ensures all project tasks from proposal to invoicing are on time.
• Oversees daily report review and resolves issues.
• Manages budgets, invoicing, pay apps and collections.
• Prepares and reviews proposals and change orders.
• Serves as primary contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Hosts meetings to present findings and resolve issues.
• Provides technical oversight for testing activities.
• Mentors junior staff and project managers.
• Supports staffing decisions and resource allocation.
• Markets services and develops client relationships.
• Performs other PM and leadership responsibilities.
