Job summary

ECS Southeast, LLP is seeking an experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Project Manager to lead our Charlestonfield services team. You will drive projects from proposal through final delivery, ensuring technical quality, financial performance, and client satisfaction.

You will mentor junior staff, oversee budgets, and develop new business while maintaining ECS core values and delivering top-notch testing services to clients in the region.

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience.
• BS in Civil/Construction Engineering or related field.
• Valid driver's license if driving for ECS subsidiary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Advanced project management and consulting skills.
• Strong business development and client relationship skills.
• Extensive knowledge of construction materials testing principles and ASTM standards.
• Proficiency with construction materials testing software.
• Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a consulting environment.
• Ability to mentor and develop staff.
• US Military experience acceptable: E-7 qualifies if education/licenses met.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage CMT projects from proposal through completion.
• Ensure all tasks from proposal to invoicing are on time.
• Oversee daily report review and resolve issues.
• Manage budgets, invoicing, pay applications, and collections.
• Prepare and review proposals and change orders.
• Serve as primary client contact.
• Lead project meetings to present findings.
• Provide technical oversight for testing activities.
• Mentor junior staff and project managers.
• Support staffing decisions across projects.
• Develop new and existing client relationships.
• Perform other PM and leadership duties.
