Job summary

Braun Intertec is seeking Experienced Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Technicians to join our Lubbock, TX office. The role involves performing testing on soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt across regional construction projects.

Onsite duties include field density, slump, air content, and strength testing, with extensive training and certifications provided. Ideal candidates are able to lift 75+ pounds, work outdoors in varying weather, and have a safety-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction materials testing experience.
• Demonstrated safety focus and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine & complex sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.
• Perform field concrete testing, including slump, air content, and strength.
• Perform field density tests of soils.
• Prepare daily reports and documentation of field activities in electronic format.
• Work with project managers and senior technicians to ensure specifications are followed.
• Assist with training & mentoring of junior staff, as needed.

Education

High School diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

ACI Concrete Field Testing Certification
