Job summary

Braun Intertec in Lubbock, TX is seeking an Entry Level Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Field Technician to join our team. No experience necessary; training provided. You will learn to perform testing on soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt at various sites with on-the-job instruction.

New hires receive in-depth training and industry certifications. This is a growth role in a 100% employee-owned company with a strong project backlog.

Qualifications

• No experience required with training provided.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 50-75+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform field density tests of soils.
• Perform field concrete testing, including slump, air content, and temperature.
• Prepare daily reports.
• Work with project managers and senior technicians to ensure project specifications are followed.
• Perform routine sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, and asphalt and assist with more complex tasks.
