Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a CMP Equipment Manager to lead the Equipment Engineering team at our Boise fabrication facility.

You will set the strategic vision, optimize equipment performance, yield, and cost, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Technology Development, Procurement, Facilities, and global engineering partners to deliver world‑class equipment capability. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field with 5+ years CMP semiconductor manufacturing experience or 10+ years CMP equipment engineering experience.
2+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams or projects in manufacturing.
Strong background in equipment performance optimization and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a CMP equipment engineering team with performance targets for fab output, yield, and cost.
Drive optimization via equipment performance, yield, throughput, and cost reduction using data-driven methods.
Collaborate cross-functionally and globally to deploy best-known methods and manage tool lifecycle activities.
Leverage AI-enabled analytics for predictive maintenance and faster decision-making.
Promote safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement while engaging suppliers.
