Job summary

GlobalFoundries seeks a motivated engineer to join the Ultra-Low-Power CMOS modeling team in Bangalore, developing compact models for FDSOI, FinFET and Bulk MOSFETs used in RF/MMW applications.

Candidates should hold a PhD or Master’s in Electrical Engineering with strong MOSFET device physics, BSIM model experience, and familiarity with model extraction tools; the role requires collaboration across sites and with customers.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in Electrical Engineering with emphasis on semiconductor physics.
• Strong MOSFET device physics knowledge; FDSOI/FinFET knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with compact model extraction and BSIM family models.
• Familiarity with model extraction tools (MBP/ICCAP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead SPICE/compact model development for RF/MMW applications.
• Design MOSFET characterization structures for model extraction.
• Develop compact models for FDSOI, FinFET and Bulk technologies.
• Deliver model-to-hardware correlation reports and analyses.
• Mentor and coordinate cross-site modeling teams.
