Job summary

Triumph Geared Solutions - Macomb is seeking an Inspector (CMM) to perform in-process and final inspections on machined parts and sub-assemblies in the Quality Department. You will conduct First Article Inspections per the quality department work instruction.

The role requires 5+ years of aerospace/military inspection experience and 2+ years of CMM inspection experience, with excellent blueprint reading and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of inspection experience in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.
• 2+ years of CMM inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspection on machined parts and sub-assemblies.
• Complete inspections to engineering requirements and customer blueprints.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer blueprints.
• Use micrometers and calipers to perform First Article Inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.
