Triumph Group in Macomb, MI is seeking a CMM Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections on machined parts and sub-assemblies within the Quality Department. You will conduct First Article Inspections per internal work instructions and read/interpret engineering drawings and customer blueprints to ensure compliance.

The role requires 5+ years of aerospace/military/defense inspection experience and proficiency with micrometers and calipers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing.
• Minimum Experience 2 Years CMM Inspection
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Strong problem solving and analysis skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft products and excel.
• Outstanding punctuality and attendance.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform in process and final inspection on machined parts, and/or sub-assemblies.
• Complete inspections to engineering requirements.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer blueprints.
• Use micrometers and calipers to perform First Article Inspections.
• Other duties as assigned.
