Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in dimensional inspection and CMM programming.
• Strong GD&T knowledge per ANSI Y14.5.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications.
• Experience inspecting tight-tolerance, high-value manufactured components.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or DOE Q clearance.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements to define inspection and quality control criteria.
• Develop and maintain quality control plans based on engineering and customer requirements.
• Program, set up, operate, and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) for dimensional inspections.
• Utilize precision measurement equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and other handheld inspection tools.
• Operate vision-based measurement equipment such as optical comparators to inspect parts and component characteristics.
• Analyze inspection data and evaluate results to determine product acceptance or rejection.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration verification of CMM equipment and inspection tools.
