Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in dimensional inspection and CMM programming.
• Hands-on experience with CMM operation, setup, and inspection methodologies.
• Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and inspecting precision components with tight tolerances.
• High school diploma, technical certification, or equivalent experience.
• Active Top Secret Clearance or DOE Q Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections on tight-tolerance, high-value manufactured components.
• Program, set up, and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to verify product compliance.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements.
• Develop and maintain quality control plans and inspection documentation.

This position is on-site in Oak Ridge, TN. The Quality Control Dimensional Inspector will perform dimensional inspections, develop and execute CMM inspection programs, and ensure compliance with quality standards for precision-manufactured components. • Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000 annually, depending on experience
