Job summary

Redwire Defense is seeking an experienced Configuration Management Specialist IV to lead change control, version management, and configuration baseline integrity across our engineering programs. This senior role requires developing CM plans, managing CM databases, and ensuring compliance with DoD and organizational CM standards.

You will mentor CM analysts, facilitate CCB reviews, and train engineers on CM tools and best practices, with strong emphasis on Windchill/SolidWorks in a PLM/ERP

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CM plans, procedures and standards.
• Explain CM basics and links to QMS (ISO 9001/AS9100).
• Lead CM analysts on projects and activities.
• Advanced CM tools and databases expertise.

Responsibilities

• Oversee change management, version control, and release processes.
• Mentor cross‑functional teams on CM practices.
• Conduct CM audits; prepare reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain CM plans and documentation.
