Job summary

RESPEC is seeking a Configuration Manager to lead CMPs, baselines, and change-control across enterprise engineering systems, software, and CAD environments. The role ensures traceability, audit readiness, and controlled releases in collaboration with PLM, ALM, DevOps, QA, and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has 5–15 years CM experience, DOE/DoD or regulated industry exposure is a plus, and CM tool experience (Windchill, Jira, Azure DevOps) is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–15 years CM experience depending on level; CM certs are a plus (CMPIC, ITIL, NDIA).
• Experience with CM in PLM/ALM/DevOps contexts is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead CMPs and baselines for software and hardware environments.
• Coordinate Change Control Boards (CCBs) and track decisions and actions.
• Maintain traceability and audit readiness across lifecycles and releases.
• Collaborate across PLM, CAD data-management, ALM, DevOps, QA, and operations.
• Document configuration items, version histories, and change logs.
