Job summary

Equinox, a premier lifestyle brand, seeks an Assistant General Manager in Downtown San Francisco to lead and inspire a high-performance club team. You will hire, train, and manage Front Desk, Maintenance, and Kids' club departments while ensuring exceptional member service and adherence to payroll budgets.

You will collaborate with the General Manager on strategic goals, lead performance evaluations, and maintain club standards and safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership ability in an operational setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• High touch customer service experience preferred.
• Effective time management and follow-up skills.

Responsibilities

• Influence and inspire a dynamic workforce.
• Hire, train, and manage Front Desk, Maintenance, and Kids' club departments; assist with schedules and payroll budgets.
• Complete staff performance evaluations monthly and annually.
• Adhere to monthly ordering timelines and supply budgets.
• Ensure high-level customer service to club members.
• Support ancillary departments and sales with General Manager collaboration.
• Monitor monthly departmental goals and projections.
• Ensure club cleanliness per Equinox standards.
• Maintain Risk Management and Loss Prevention procedures; monitor safety and security.
• Assist with other projects as delegated by GM.
• Be open to location reassignment and flexible schedules.
