Job summary

Sun Life U.S. is seeking a Senior Operational Engineer to join the Contact Centre Infrastructure Operations team.

You will design, deliver, and support enterprise telephony and contact centre platforms, with a focus on Microsoft Teams Telephony and Amazon Connect, using cloud and AI-enabled solutions to improve employee and client experiences. Qualifications

3–5 years of experience designing, delivering, and supporting cloud-based technology solutions.
2+ years of hands-on experience supporting AWS services and enterprise telephony platforms (Amazon Connect / Teams Telephony).
Experience with AWS Lambda and Python; knowledge of cloud architecture principles.

Responsibilities

Plan, prioritize, and migrate to Microsoft Teams Telephony for Financial Centres.
Gather requirements with stakeholders and refine telephony and AI-enabled solutions.
Develop scalable, secure cloud infrastructure designs aligned with enterprise standards.
Support Amazon Connect and AWS services for reliability and performance.
Contribute to DevOps practices: CI/CD, infrastructure automation, monitoring.
Mentor operations teams and document procedures for knowledge sharing.
Identify AI opportunities to improve efficiency and client experience.
Participate in incident response and change management activities.
