Job summary

Bezos Academy is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design and maintain the full technology stack for our network of tuition-free Montessori-inspired preschools. You will build cloud-based solutions focused on security, scalability, and supportability, empowering rapid growth and reliable operations.

You'll join a small, expanding team spanning strategic design to day-to-day operations, setting IT policy and culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive IT experience in systems engineering and/or IaaS/SaaS/PaaS infrastructure management.
• Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure platforms and cloud networking (Cloudflare, Akamai).
• Ability to manage AI platforms and infrastructure (e.g. Claude CoWork, Copilot Studio, Azure Foundry).
• Experience deploying and migrating between SaaS applications in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of information security best practices in a cloud environment.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time to schools and sites as needed.
