Job summary

Bezos Academy is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to build and support the full technology stack for our growing network of tuition-free Montessori-inspired preschools. You will design and implement cloud-based solutions that empower the organization to grow exponentially with a focus on data security and scalability.

You will join a small, collaborative team shaping IT policy and operations. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, strong AWS expertise, fluency in English, and up to 10% travel;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in IT, systems engineering, or IaaS/SaaS/PaaS infrastructure.
• Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and cloud networking.
• Experience deploying, administering, and migrating SaaS platforms in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of information security best practices in cloud environments.
• Fluent English (written & spoken).
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to schools/sites.

Responsibilities

• Build and support the full technology stack for Bezos Academy's network of preschools.
• Design and implement cloud-based technology solutions to enable scaling.
• Apply engineering best practices focusing on security, scalability, and supportability.
• Lay groundwork for IT policy and team culture across the organization.
