Healthfirst seeks a Principal Engineer, Cloud Systems to drive cloud strategy across public and private environments, leading automation and standardization. The role collaborates with development teams and mentors I&O engineers to improve resiliency and delivery of cloud services.

The candidate will own governance, security, and reliability practices while guiding the Center of Excellence for cloud usage. Hybrid leadership and on-call responsibilities are expected.

Formación

• Experience designing, building, and managing Linux/Unix and Windows systems.
• Extensive cloud experience with AWS, Azure, GCP; I&O oversight of public/private cloud tech.
• Automation scripting with BASH, Python and/or PowerShell.
• IaC experience with automation and open-source tools.
• Identify repeatable processes and partner with teams to push automation.

Responsabilidades

• Support private/public cloud systems, OS, middleware, storage, databases and infrastructure products.
• Provide coaching/direction to I&O Engineering team and SME for complex issues.
• Develop repeatable automation to deliver capabilities efficiently.
• Implement automation to prevent incidents and support on-call rotation.
• Lead Center of Excellence for cloud usage and standards; ensure governance and security.
• Maintain accurate inventory of servers, storage, networking, and virtualization.
• Create SOPs for Healthfirst operations teams and collaborate with Dev teams on cloud tech.
