Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma/GED with 16 years of relevant Systems Administration experience, or 14 years with an Associate's, or 12 with a Bachelor's, or 10 with a Master's.
• Experience with deploying and administering cloud-based and hybrid solutions.
• Experience with Linux and Windows in large environments.
• Experience with automating tasks (e.g.; Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet or Python).
• Current CompTIA Security+ or higher certification.
• Proven experience with IT Systems design, deployment and administration.
• Experience with VMware environments and configuring VNets.
• Experience with system documentation (operating guides, troubleshooting, ATO artifacts).
• Experience with STIGs and GPOs.
• Ability to obtain and maintain final adjudicated U.S. government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Engineering and Administrative support onsite for a team of administrators.
• Build and maintain cloud-based and hybrid-cloud systems.
• Administer Linux and Windows systems in virtual environments and on physical desktops.
• Maintain and troubleshoot IP networking for cloud/hybrid systems.
• Automate deployment, operation and maintenance using IaC and config mgmt tooling.
• Serve as primary site lead reporting to site/program leadership.
• Provide guidance and training to junior administrators.
• Review supplier design data and define test requirements for acceptance and integration.
• Test, maintain, and integrate specialized IT equipment for ground and flight ops.
• Collaborate with admins/onsite staff to troubleshoot issues.
• Travel up to 20%.
