Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Systems Administrator to support real-time Ground Systems for flight operations. You will configure accounts, deploy equipment, and work with partners to resolve data movement issues in a demanding military environment.

The role requires formal education with multiple degree options and strong STIG compliance experience, plus the ability to lift 40 pounds and work flexible hours including on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED with relevant Systems Administration experience.
• Experience with STIG compliance and government security requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to manage accounts and permissions.
• Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 pounds and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time support for Ground Systems multi-user computer systems supporting flight operations and maintenance.
• Account for, control, and deploy equipment.
• Configure user, administrator, and service accounts.
• Work with partners to resolve technical and data movement issues between Ground Systems and external systems.
• Perform field integration, troubleshooting, and repair of communications systems in military flight operations environment.
• Provide on-site end-user systems administration support 24/5 and submit feedback to engineers.
