Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a Senior Cloud Systems Administrator/Helpdesk Manager to support a large software development and engineering team.

The role involves administering and expanding cloud platforms, implementing automation, and maintaining secure IT infrastructure on-premise and in the cloud. The candidate will lead a team, work in an in-office hybrid schedule in Raleigh, NC, and must pursue security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant work experience with BS.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience with MS.

Responsibilities

• Administer, develop, configure, implement and maintain the cloud platform systems.
• Maintain public and/or private cloud systems and deploy them in an automated way.
• Monitor, move, and alter systems using prescribed methodology.
• Create and maintain scripts and documentation for IT infrastructure.
