Job summary

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team delivering secure cloud-based development environments in a Raleigh, NC setting.

You will design and implement networks, contribute to secure architectures, and work with hardware, software, and security specialists to meet program needs. The role requires DoD clearance eligibility, IAT Level II certification within 60 days, and strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required (no exceptions).
• Eligible to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must obtain DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop cloud-based networked environments.
• Create network architectures with site surveys, planning, and installation.
• Develop network diagrams (ATO support) and present plans to team/customers.
• Collaborate with customers to elicit requirements and deliver flexible networking solutions.
• Travel occasionally as needed.
