Job summary

CGS Federal in Dallas, TX seeks a Cloud and Storage Engineer to develop and implement SAN architecture for a large EMC-based infrastructure supporting a federal agency.

You will design, implement, and optimize storage configurations, replication, security, and disaster recovery, and develop standards and processes. Collaboration across teams and a focus on uptime, security, and efficient storage management will be essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS or related field.
• Eight years of relevant work experience may substitute for degree.
• Extensive experience with Dell EMC SAN products (Unity, Isilon, VNS, Data Domain) and RecoverPoint.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SAN architecture for EMC-based infrastructure.
• Define strategic direction for SAN and backup environments.
• Provide storage capacity planning and utilization reporting.
• Develop standards for storage configuration, optimization, and disaster recovery.
• Maintain 24/7/365 uptime as part of a team.
