Job summary
AGE Solutions is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in Cloud-hosted Storage Solutions to support a DoD customer. The role involves provisioning, operating, and maintaining cloud and on‑premise storage infrastructure, including DR planning and disaster recovery in cloud environments.
The position requires DoD IT systems experience, SAN management skills, and certifications. Onsite work is expected at a DoD facility with the potential for extensive storage modernization
Qualifications
- Five (5) years of professional experience in engineering with storage and backup technologies.
- Three (3) years managing hybrid storage infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
- Two (2) years with DoD IT systems.
- Two (2) years with enterprise SAN management including FC zoning, iSCSI, and NAS.
Responsibilities
- Provision, operate, install, configure, and maintain cloud and on‑prem storage infrastructure.
- Provide technical support and hands‑on delivery in planning, implementation, and operations.
- Document specs, plans, configurations, tests, and results.
- Coordinate and perform DR failovers in cloud environments.
- Ensure high availability and performance of enterprise apps/systems in cloud.
