Job summary

AGE Solutions seeks an experienced Systems Engineer focused on Cloud-hosted Storage Solutions to support a DoD customer. You will provision, operate and optimize storage across on-prem and cloud, with emphasis on reliability, DR, and performance.

Responsibilities include planning, implementing, documenting, and improving storage architectures; ensuring secure, compliant operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Five years of professional engineering experience, including storage and backup software.
• Three years managing hybrid storage infrastructure in Azure/AWS.
• Two years working with DoD IT systems.
• Two years of enterprise SAN management (Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NAS).
• Experience with enterprise backup/restore services (Veritas NetBackup, AWS/Azure backups).

Responsibilities

• Provision, operate, install/configure and maintain cloud and on-prem storage infrastructure.
• Provide hands‑on delivery and guidance for planning, implementation and operations.
• Monitor DR capabilities and ensure high availability of critical applications.
• Document storage configurations, plans and test results; report on capacity planning.
• Coordinate and perform DR failovers within cloud environments.
