Job summary

AGE Solutions seeks an experienced Systems Engineer to support a DoD customer, focusing on cloud-hosted storage solutions. This on-site role requires DoD security clearance and hands-on expertise with hybrid Azure/AWS storage, SAN, and backup technologies.

You will contribute to DR planning, capacity analytics, and policy documentation. You will operate at a DoD customer site in Tracy, CA, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure uptime, compliance, and optimal storage performance

Qualifications

• Five years of professional engineering experience including storage and backup software technologies.
• Three years managing hybrid storage infrastructure (Azure and/or AWS).
• Two years DoD IT systems experience.
• Two years enterprise SAN management experience including Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and LUNs.
• Experience with enterprise backup/restore services (Veritas NetBackup, AWS Backup, or Azure).

Responsibilities

• Provide provisioning, operation, installation/configuration of cloud-enabled storage infrastructure.
• Deliver technical guidance and hands-on delivery for planning, implementation, and ongoing operations.
• Ensure cloud and on-premises storage meet regulatory requirements and performance targets.
• Document specifications, project plans, configurations, and test results.
• Coordinate disaster recovery failovers and ensure high availability of critical apps.
