Job summary

AGE Solutions seeks an experienced Systems Engineer specializing in cloud-hosted storage to support a DoD customer. You will provision, operate, and maintain storage infrastructure, both on‑premise and in the cloud, ensuring high availability and DR readiness.

Responsibilities include planning, documentation, capacity planning, and implementing advanced storage solutions while adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Five years in engineering with storage and backup software experience.
• Three years hybrid storage (Azure AWS) experience.
• Two years DoD IT systems experience.
• Two years enterprise SAN management with Fibre Channel, iSCSI, and related tech.
• Experience with enterprise backup/restore (Veritas NetBackup, AWS Backup, Azure Recovery Services).

Responsibilities

• Provision, operate, install/configure, and maintain cloud and on-prem storage infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and hands-on support for planning and operations.
• Research and implement innovative cloud storage solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
• Document configurations, plans, test results, and policies.
• Lead DR failovers and ensure high availability of enterprise apps in cloud.
• Perform capacity and performance planning for storage components.
