Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design and scale a cloud-native SaaS platform. You will define reliability standards, build self-service capabilities, and drive automation across teams to improve resilience, security, and performance for mission-critical services.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in SRE/Platform/DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
• 3+ years designing large-scale cloud environments.
• 3+ years with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, AWS CDK).
• 3+ years building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• 3+ years AWS experience (EKS, EC2, VPC, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM).
• 3+ years implementing observability platforms (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain highly available, scalable cloud infrastructure.
• Define and drive SLOs/SLIs/SLAs across critical services.
• Build self-service platform capabilities for developers.
• Develop reliability frameworks and automation to reduce toil.
• Design IaC and CI/CD pipelines; enable rapid deployments.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews for systemic improvements.
