Capital One seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to drive resilient, scalable cloud platforms within the CORE Technology division. You will shape architecture, automate toil away, and mentor engineers across teams to raise reliability and efficiency.

This role emphasizes multi-cloud IaC, SLO governance, capacity planning and FinOps, with a strong focus on security and compliance. 8+ years in SRE/DevOps and cloud experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related quantitative field.
• 8+ years of experience leading SRE or DevOps initiatives and defining technical roadmaps.
• 8+ years of experience architecting, optimizing, and governing enterprise-scale solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• 4+ years defining IaC/CI/CD strategies and best practices across the organization.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor SRE teams and drive reliability improvements.

Responsabilités

• Drive architectural vision for resilient, large-scale production systems.
• Spearchold automation to eliminate toil and elevate platform efficiency.
• Lead crisis management, deep-dive RCA, and outage prevention strategies.
• Define and govern secure, multi-cloud IaC strategy and maturity roadmap.
• Establish organization-wide SLOs and reliability metrics.
• Mentor SRE talent and scale culture across engineering teams.
• Own proactive capacity forecasting, cost optimization, and FinOps for core infrastructure.
