Job summary

EverCommerce is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability of production SaaS infrastructure across cloud and hosting environments. The role focuses on Windows and Linux, virtualization, and AWS, with opportunities to lead automation and modernization projects.

The team operates globally with remote-friendly policies; candidates must be eligible to work in the US or Canada, with some travel to offices or HQ as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of systems, infrastructure, or cloud engineering experience.
• Experience administering Windows Server and Linux systems.
• Experience supporting infrastructure in AWS environments.
• Experience with enterprise virtualization platforms.
• Experience designing or implementing infrastructure automation using scripting languages.
• Experience leading technical investigations and root cause analysis.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals and resiliency.
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms and database infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain uptime and performance for production SaaS environments across cloud and hosting platforms.
• Support Windows and Linux infrastructure, virtualization, storage, and networking components.
• Lead modernization and automation initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Troubleshoot complex production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and operational visibility.
• Collaborate on SOX/PCI/HIPAA compliance initiatives.
• Lead vulnerability remediation and lifecycle maintenance.
• Develop technical documentation and standards.
