Job summary

Bentley Systems is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to automate cloud-based infrastructure and tooling with a focus on DevOps principles across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will help design, develop, provision, maintain and monitor automation for infrastructure and services.

The role involves deep troubleshooting, performance analysis, and leadership for proactive resolutions, in a hybrid Exton/Philadelphia setting with no travel. Collaboration across global teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science, software engineering or relevant training and/or experience.
• 8+ years of experience with Cloud Services development, deployment and/or IT Cloud infrastructure setup and maintenance (Azure Cloud or AWS or GCP).
• Experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, YAML) or GitHub enterprise (Git, Actions).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, JavaScript.
• Programming in C#, Python, Golang, Ruby or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AD, DNS, IIS, and networking.
• Experience with FedRamp background screening.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Enterprise ecosystems.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server/Azure SQL and diagnostic scripting.
• Ability to document architectural designs and operational processes.
• Willingness to learn a broad range of cloud technologies in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a global, cross-organizational team.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve automation (CI/CD Infrastructure) and tooling via Azure DevOps and scripting.
• Automate Azure deployments, resource provisioning and related tasks.
• Troubleshoot application development, deployment and operations issues.
• Dive into availability, performance and outages; provide technical leadership for resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices and policies.
• Maintain monitoring and alerting; participate in rotating on-call schedule.
• Collaborate with engineers to triage and fix production issues.
