Job summary

Okta seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud platform services with a strong emphasis on automation, testing, and operational excellence enabling engineering teams to operate securely at scale.

Reporting to the Manager, Site Reliability Engineering, you will help design scalable cloud environments, champion DevOps practices, and produce runbooks, DR plans, and comprehensive documentation to support reliability across the organization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles.
• Experience building AWS multi-account environments with IAM and AWS Organizations.
• Proficient in infrastructure as code with Terraform and secure automation in Python.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and observability tools like Splunk, CloudWatch, and Grafana.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and modernize scalable cloud environments and development tools while enforcing security policies.
• Partner with software engineering to champion DevOps and SRE practices and contribute to Agile workflows.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and disaster recovery procedures.
