Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and operate cloud infrastructure services across Oracle's national security realms. You will automate deployment, tune performance, and ensure high availability for large-scale distributed systems, working with global teams.

This role involves 24/7 on-call rotations, change management, and mentoring junior SREs. You will leverage Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and scripting to reduce toil and enable continuous delivery,

Qualifications

• US citizenship with TS/SCI clearance w/Poly is required.
• Technology-related bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Escalation points for junior SREs during complex incidents.
• Manage and execute complex Change Management tickets with service teams.
• On-board new services and tools ensuring operational readiness and integration.
• Mentor and train SREs to build team capability and confidence.
• Create and maintain documentation for operational processes and support.
• Automate repetitive tasks to reduce toil and enable continuous delivery.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and changes.
• Collaborate with global service and engineering teams.
• Define and drive CI/CD and deployment best practices.
