Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) invites a results-driven Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Reliability Engineering team. You will own the availability, performance, and scalability of critical shared services, collaborating across product and platform teams.

The role emphasizes automation, cloud migrations, incident response, on-call rotations, and building observability with Datadog and other tools, while advancing CI/CD practices and IaC with Terraform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Prior application support with focus on site reliability engineering.
• Experience with scripting languages Shell or Python.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Observability tools such as Datadog or Dynatrace.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Incident response and blameless post-mortems.
• Proficient in Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Maintain SLOs for systems and continually improve availability and latency.
• Write automation to scale systems and enable quick recovery.
• Partner with development teams to improve reliability and release velocity.
• Participate in on-call rotations, incidents, postmortems, and RCA.
• Advocate engineering practices for scalable, reliable services.
• Support cloud migration with architectural reviews and testing.
