Job summary

Devopsroles is hiring a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of cloud-native systems. You will drive automation, monitoring, incident management, and AI-assisted investigations on Kubernetes platforms (Amazon EKS) using observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, and OpenSearch.

The role requires 7+ years in SRE/Platform Engineering with strong IaC in Terraform, AWS/EKS, and hands-on experience with monitoring and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in SRE/Platform Engineering.
• Ownership of incident management and RCA for production systems.
• Strong Terraform and IaC expertise.
• Hands-on AWS and EKS experience.
• Strong observability mindset with Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, OpenSearch.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Go, or Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available, scalable production systems.
• Define and manage SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs for reliability.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations using Terraform.
• Operate cloud-native platforms including Amazon EKS.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, OpenSearch.
• Lead incident management, on-call rotation, and RCA.
• Drive AI-assisted investigations and build/maintain prompts and guardrails for AI-driven triage.
• Improve reliability via automation, self-healing, and tuning.
• Collaborate with development to improve reliability and deployment processes.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Perform capacity planning and cost optimization.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across infra and apps.
