Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered, or as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or a related occupation.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent and four years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and one year of experience.
• One year of experience in providing technical leadership and project management for all aspects of the software development lifecycle; and designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using OOD, distributed programming, and C#, C++, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of large-scale, distributed database systems using Microsoft SQL Server in AWS cloud environments.
• Optimize SQL Server performance for cloud-based deployments, focusing on high-availability and scalability.
• Serve as a technical lead for enterprise-level database services and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with account managers and solution architects to design and implement database solutions.
• Design integrations between SQL Server and AWS services (EC2, VPC, IAM) and lead agile development cycles.
