Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a Lead Cloud Solutions Architect to serve as the senior client-facing technology leader for cloud initiatives. You will partner with stakeholders to define strategies, roadmaps, and implementation plans across cloud, applications, and technology domains.

You will guide engagements from discovery through deployment, ensuring alignment with business needs, platform capabilities, and enterprise standards. Strong leadership and collaboration across teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; equivalent experience considered.
• 8+ years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in solution architecture, consulting, or customer-facing technology roles.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud services and cloud solution architecture.
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud architecture principles.
• Strong networking, security, and hybrid networking concepts.
• Experience with SaaS, APIs, and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor and trusted partner for business stakeholders.
• Lead client engagement activities including discovery, requirements, workshops, and business cases.
• Translate business needs into scalable, cost-aware technology solutions.
• Oversee full solution lifecycle from concept to deployment and transition.
• Develop roadmaps and delivery plans for cloud, apps, and tech initiatives.
• Lead complex engagements from concept through implementation and transition.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions.
• Provide guidance to Solution Architects, Engineers, and delivery teams.
