Job summary

Epicor seeks a Principal Product Developer to architect and deliver scalable, secure, cloud‑native solutions that power our enterprise software platforms. You will partner with engineering and stakeholders to translate complex business challenges into innovative technology.

You will lead architectural standards, code reviews, and modernization across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud, while mentoring engineers and driving CI/CD, observability, and AI adoption.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• 4+ years in an Architect, Principal Engineer, or similar leadership role.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud‑native design.
• Experience delivering enterprise‑scale cloud solutions on major cloud platforms.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive solution, application, and platform architecture for enterprise software products.
• Lead design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of cloud‑native solutions.
• Contribute to software development, debugging, and delivery of platform capabilities.
• Establish architectural standards, patterns, and governance across teams.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical leadership for complex initiatives.
• Design systems focusing on scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to drive innovation.
• Lead cloud modernization across Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
• Champion AI‑enabled solutions and modern AI tool adoption.
• Develop proofs‑of‑concepts and production‑ready solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering to resolve complex challenges and ensure implementation.
• Mentor engineers and foster engineering excellence.
• Promote automation, CI/CD, observability, and best practices.
