Job summary

Epicor is seeking a senior software engineer to plan, design, develop, and test complex enterprise systems, providing technical leadership across architecture, scalability, performance, and security.

You will collaborate with Product Management, QA, DevOps, Security, and Engineering to deliver AI-enabled capabilities, cloud-native solutions on AWS/Azure/GCP, and ensure reliable, scalable software that drives business value.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering with a focus on architecture and design.
• 4+ years in specialized or industry experience.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale software products and platforms.
• Strong knowledge of AI-enabled software development and responsible AI practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, and test complex software systems and enterprise applications.
• Provide technical leadership for architecture, code quality, scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
• Design and support AI-enabled capabilities that improve product functionality, workflow automation, and customer experiences.
• Partner with Product Management, QA, DevOps, Security, and Engineering teams to meet release, quality, and operational objectives.
• Review technical designs and guide key engineering decisions across teams.
• Mentor senior developers and contribute to the growth and development of engineering talent.
• Recommend and implement engineering best practices that improve maintainability, performance, software quality, and developer productivity.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, helping determine practical applications that support product innovation and business goals.
• Drive modern software engineering approaches that support scalability, reliability, and long-term product success.
• Contribute to technical roadmaps and help define standards for enterprise-scale software development.
