Job summary

Epicor seeks a Principal Product Developer to lead architecture for enterprise software, guiding cloud-native design and secure, scalable delivery across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud. You will mentor engineers, set technical governance, and champion automation and modern engineering practices.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, system design, and close collaboration with engineering teams to drive innovation and modernization across platforms.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience.
• 4+ years in an Architect, Principal Engineer, Technical Lead, or similar leadership role.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native design.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale cloud solutions.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
• APIs, microservices, event-driven architectures, and integration patterns.
• Knowledge of software quality practices, testing methodologies, application security, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive solution, application, and platform architecture for enterprise software products.
• Lead design, development, integration, testing, and deployment of scalable, secure, and cloud-native solutions.
• Contribute to software development, debugging, and production delivery of platform capabilities and features.
• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and technical governance across teams.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical leadership for complex initiatives.
