Job summary
Epicor is seeking a senior software engineer to plan, design, develop, and test complex enterprise applications. You will provide technical leadership for architecture, design, code quality, scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
You will design and support AI-enabled capabilities, collaborating with Product Management, QA, DevOps, Security, and Engineering to meet release, quality, and operational objectives, review designs, mentor engineers, and drive engineering excellence
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience with a strong foundation in software architecture and system design.
- 4+ years of specialized or industry experience.
- Experience designing, building, and delivering enterprise-scale software products and platforms.
- Advanced knowledge of modern software development practices and OO design.
- Strong understanding of AI-enabled software development and responsible AI practices.
- Experience designing cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Deep knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, API design, and event-driven patterns.
- Experience implementing CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices; release automation.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead technical direction.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
