Job summary

Epicor is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions across the full lifecycle. You will leverage AI-assisted development to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and boost productivity while contributing to scalable cloud-native applications.

You will mentor peers, participate in design and code reviews, and help advance engineering standards and best practices in an innovative, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering and modern application development.
• Experience with cloud technologies and AI-assisted development.
• Strong software engineering with Python, C#, Node.js.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, secure coding and Agile methods.
• Ability to use AI coding tools and agents for development, testing, and documentation.
• Strong analytical, debugging, communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills.
• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, refactor, test, and maintain applications, services, APIs, and frameworks for scalable software solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, code reviews, and solution reviews to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Leverage AI-assisted development to improve delivery speed and quality.
• Review code for maintainability, performance, security, and adherence to standards.
• Build and maintain tools, automation, and processes that improve delivery, release readiness, and productivity.
• Mentor developers through technical guidance, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Improve coding standards and engineering practices while estimating work and delivering on schedule.
