Job summary

CDW is seeking an AWS Principal Consultant to drive professional services across global CDW customers. You will lead architecture and engineering work, align delivery teams on best practices, and upskill staff in Cloud/DevOps.

You will oversee multi-project solutions, mentor engineers, and contribute to SOW reviews and client workshops, with a focus on AWS and AI/ML-driven approaches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years IT infra experience, incl. 3+ years in large enterprise consulting.
• Strong leadership with ability to advise on architecture and IT services offerings.
• Proven client relationship skills as a trusted advisor and mentor to engineers.
• Comfortable presenting complex tech to diverse audiences; calm under change and risk.
• Willingness to travel to CDW locations or client sites; valid US driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Professional services delivery for CDW customers globally on major Public Cloud platforms.
• Oversee technical solutions across projects to ensure synergy and visibility.
• Collaborate with CDW consulting groups for cohesive solution approaches bridging sales and delivery.
• Lead technical deployment engineering with customers on workload design for public clouds.
• Provide workshops and training events on emerging Public Cloud technologies.
• Mentor engineers and architects to take on Cloud/DevOps projects.
