Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Sr. Training Specialist to deliver hands-on virtual and classroom instruction for Cloud software in the public safety domain.

You will tailor training for varied student levels, from end users to system admins, using live software environments, documentation, and minimal slide content. The role requires 3+ years of technical training and public safety experience, travel up to 50%, and the ability to obtain government background clearance.

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification included as preferred qualification.
• 3+ years of technical training experience preferred.
• 3+ years of public safety experience preferred.
• 1+ years of experience with Motorola Solutions customer software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach and instruct agency customers and staff on complex software products and services.
• Conduct virtual and/or on-site training for Motorola CommandCentral software and third-party integrations.
• Present training using Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Slides.
• Complete department required reports within set standards and deadlines.
• Manage communication with customers and internal stakeholders on training projects and schedules.
• Create training and technical documents and course materials for products or services.
• Measure knowledge transfer and training effectiveness.
• Operate under supervision from the CommandCentral Training Team Manager.
