Abbott Laboratories seeks a Senior Software Engineer, Cloud, to join our global SaaS platform. You will design and implement Go-based services, focusing on high-volume, low-latency processing for healthcare data across multiple countries.

You will collaborate with internal and external partners on APIs, security, and scalability, while contributing to architecture decisions and tooling improvements in a remote-friendly U.S. environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of professional software development experience in an Agile environment.
• Experience with Go, RESTful APIs, and microservices in a cloud SaaS platform.

Responsibilities

• Learn and improve Go-based health care platforms.
• Design and implement Go services for cloud-based platforms.
• Develop high-volume, low-latency services for a global health care platform.
• Collaborate on API contracts and secure solutions with InfoSec.
• Ensure performance, uptime, and scale with high code quality.
