Job summary

Verint Systems Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own the development of cloud-based platforms and applications. You will lead design, testing, publishing, and support, working with a global team to deliver robust solutions using CI/CD practices and modern tech stacks.

You will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and ensure performance, security, and scalability across services. Strong Java, microservices, and AI integration experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science / software engineering or similar.
• 5 years’ experience designing and programming large-scale applications through all SDLC phases.
• Proven track record delivering complex features end-to-end.
• 2 years mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction in cross-functional squads.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring technologies.
• Solid RESTful API, OAuth 2.0/JWT, and microservices knowledge.
• Relational DBs (PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle) and NoSQL exposure (Redis, Elasticsearch, MongoDB).
• 3 years consuming LLM APIs or integrating AI into production workflows.
• Strong debugging and CI/CD/tooling experience; file ≤ 3 lines in the job description.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing feature design evaluation and risk identification for architecture and performance.
• Translate requirements into implementable tasks and deliver features with quality.
• Develop features using best practices aligned to product architecture.
• Ensure tests, automation, security, and performance meet standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.
• Lead collaboration with architects and stakeholders to define design.
• Support planning, estimates, dependencies, and sequencing tasks.
• Contribute to reducing technical debt and improving development processes.
